Client Background:
A family living in the DC metro area booked AA Limousine and Sedan wedding transportation service. We were assigned to handle luxury transportation for a 150 guests wedding in Washington, DC. The event included a church ceremony in Georgetown and a reception at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Northwest DC. Guests were staying in different hotels in downtown DC.
The Problem
The family discussed with us that they do not want to face any type of coordination problem. The ride was about picking up 150 guests from multiple locations in Bethesda, Alexandria, and Downtown DC. They needed only one company that handled the entire transportation.
Major Concerns

Our Solution

Pickup structure
Our planners grouped guests based on their hotel locations where they were staying and assigned specific routes for shuttles. We calculated the time and factored in DC’s unpredictable traffic.
Bridal party separation
The limo operation is an independent schedule from the shuttles, so if the limousines are delayed, the guests’ arrival is not jeopardized.
Day of coordination
The fleet manager was connected with all, including limo chauffeurs, SUVs, and shuttle drivers. We rerouted the shuttle when it was found that Connecticut Avenue was blocked. Every guest arrived on time, as well as family, who were also there with shuttles.
